Petition: Ensure all premises offering Electric Vehicle Chargers enforce EV only parking.

As much as I sympathise, I would imagine that as a business owner this would actually be a disincentive to providing EV charging. Enforcement would impose additional costs on the business in addition to the capital expense of the charging infrastructure and the ongoing electricity costs.

I think a better approach would be to allow local government to enforce this in private car parks where the business owner is agreeable.

This removes the enforcement costs from the business and gives an agency with enforcement powers the ability to not only issue but also enforce fines.
