That's strange. 397xxx would make a lot more sense than 497xxx at that time. Are you sure you typed that right?I have 497XX5 and 497XX3 and are two apart. I ordered in Hou,Tx store at about 1130am CT on 3/31.
awesome! I'm liking this better now than the ResID . seems closer to where I thought I would be. Wow 57Kish !! you will be months before me dude. I hope we are onto something with this...You could be on to something here also
My common reservation is showing 412XXX
My common uid is showing 98057XXX
I was thinking 37XXXX were there earliest M3 orders, so I would be around 40Kish in line, but that is just whats showing so far in the thread. There could have been about 15-20k with employees. This could make me right around 57XXX in line.
you can right-click by clicking with 2 other fingers on the track pad too no mouse neededomg that is the ticket. I never use a mouse on the macbook air so I should have known their was a need. Will advise once hooked up.
thanks that rules it out so i can focus on the resid . that means i'm in the 44k range holy crap! thats awesome "If" true ..I don't think so. I have two reservations and the uid is the same for both. And there is no way I'm that far up the queue.
I think you nailed it. Melinda confirmed uid is the same for her on 2 reservationsUid may be more of a User ID, which could be created when you first reserve a Tesla or any type. Can anyone with multiple reservations or multiple Tesla vehicles confirm if they have the same Uid for both?
good news there ..my resid is in the 44xxx so if it follows and we find proof , i'll be in the first 50k. never expected thatThe UID for both my Model S and Model 3 are the same.
FYI. I live a few miles from Hawthorne and made my reservation on 3/31 online right after the reveal video ended. My number starts with 46xxxx. I will be a new Tesla owner.
OK, my point was misunderstood. All Teslas have a reservation number. Starting with 000001, which would have been a Roadster, then the Model S came along, which might have taken the reservation numbers up into the 200,000's, and then the X, which took the reservation numbers up to 300k-360k. Those with a 36xxxx are the first reservations of a Model 3. If you take the assumed start point of 36xxxx (which seems to be the lowest start value for the Model 3 reservations), my 69xxxxx would be 330,000 places after the first person. We know that there were 385K reservations, but 12k were removed, making the current total about 373k. This would make sense that I am a long way down the list, due to my late April 12th reservation.A physical impossibility since some of us are in the 300ks. I'm 39xxxx for instance.

Based on this, the number is likely a tally of how many vehicles have been reserved thus far. It's likely a mixed bag of S, X and 3. And the starting point before Model 3 reservations likely isn't anything logical. How did no one figure this out before? Mine definitely match up.
Model S, reserved July 2012 #018xxx
Model X, reserved September 2015 #265xxx
Model 3, reserved 3/31 1 pm Pacific #519xxx and #519xxx (5 apart from each other)
