Powder Coated 20" Factory Wheels.

So far so good on my 19" slipstreams that were powder coated. Two winters on them and they have held up fine beyond normal wear and tear.

selling my stock 20’s, but if no one buys them I might just Powdercoat them and use them as a winter set up.

For those of you that did powder coat, what has been your experience? Durability issues? Maintenance issues?

lasted for a year before car was totaled. had NO ISSUES at all after a year. I used chemical guys signature series wheel cleaner

Just had mine done locally in the OC, one day turnaround. Makes the MX looks much cleaner.

Haha did the exact same thing! Except I got metallic Grey to make the color of the car. Saved myself 4k ding this instead of getting the 22s and I still have a smoother ride. 130 per wheel and 1 day turnaround. I live in dallas though

Where or who in Dallas was the powder coater? Did that include dismount and remount with high speed balancing?
Wanted to get my wheels done I know Discount Tire will powder coat all the wheels for $150.00 a wheel including dismount and remount. They will also use black weights.
