Powder coating wheels in the OC - Good shop?

Hey All,

My MX is due on on 3/15 and I am looking to get the wheels powder coated matte black. Going for that Stormtrooper look with Pearl White! Anyone have recommendations on a great shop in the south OC area?

I know you said South OC but a few local OC enthusiast and I recommend JR Wheel 714-390-6664 located in Garden Grove.

He refinished a few set of wheels for my model X and other cars and they all came out beautiful. Really recommend Luis!

Will, do you know is Luis can paint calipers too?

Yes he certainly can do calipers too. He was actually working on a Maybach's calipers the time I was picking up a set of rims from him.

I want to thank all of you for referring Luis to the TMC community. He powder coated my M3 wheels satin black and also painted my calipers red while the wheels were off. I have no affiliation with Luis and I want to note that he did not provide any additional discount for an unbiased review.


He was meticulous and did a great job and the best part was that he is very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him. I live 60 miles away so I opted for a same day appointment which worked out well. He also is very patient with questions and appears to working for several other Tesla owners.
