At least rates are moving the right direction. We paid almost 12% on our first house. We refinanced twice before we moved and got down to 7% or so.

You must be an age that didn't know of hefty mortgage rates. In the 80's mine was 18%, but monthly payments based on 12%...SO, each month's payment was NEGATIVE AMORTIZATION!!

Wow. You must have bought right at the peak. For our first house they want 12-13% but where able to get 11% or so by moving some money into the bank.

As of 530PM Pacific time today, Tesla is now charging $$$ for all colors except stealth grey, which means model X MSRP is over $80K for all other paint colors. My instinct is telling me that a $5K price drop is imminent now.
