It would be great for Tesla out of their good faith make up the $3k for early adopters. But why would/should they??
I like many of you owners here were well aware of the pricing, terms and condition when we configured, financed, insured, signed, and took delivery. No gun to the head, no pressure, no surprises.
Now of course it stings a little with Tesla and its tasteless business practice to drop the price after just a few months of release. But in the end, Tesla is a business and business don't give a damn about feeling and emotions.
No matter how much some of us rant about poor customer service etc. with Tesla, most of us will not jump ship and still want a piece of that pie. Crazy part is that we as consumers have OPTIONS. Yet.... we stick around because of the cool factor.
Tesla is the #1 auto manufacturer in the world, and they know it. They will not lose sleep over a small batch whom felt like they got shafted $3k that took delivery before July 11th.
