Problem after Software update 8.0

I updated to v8 and have been experiencing the similar problem. My MX automatically unlocks itself right after I lock the car or a few minutes later. hmm.. what should I do?

Is your second keyfob near the car? I noticed that it now auto-unlocks by proximity.

I moved the Key FOB further away and the problem stops.

Ours does this too if the key fob is in close proximity. And we have not upgraded to 8.0 yet!!

Ours turned on and off until we got the fobs flashed. If you're having weird fob-related lock/unlock issues, you might want to get the latest fob firmware flashed at the SC. No guarantees that's the issue.. just a recommendation based on my experience.

The new auto-unlock on key fob detection seems overly sensitive. I was having this on-off problem too (since upgrading to 8.0 this afternoon) until I moved both keys farther from the garage.

I did hard reset to try to solve this issue, but it didn't help too much. Later, I also figured that it looked like a proximity caused the unlock. When I moved the fob further away, the problem seemed to stop. It would have been useful if the proximity were a bit less sensitive.

I noticed the automatic on after updating when key fob is in proximity range. The car locked itself as I kept the key fob in my RFID bag. Don't keep the fob close by or get a RFID blocking bag.

I had the same problem with my Samsung S7 edge right after I updated to v8 when I tried to start playback from the phone, however it plays fine for me when I use the car's controls.

Have you tried unpairing your phone and repairing it?

I have a Samsung S7 edge and I noticed the same thing after upgrading to v8 when I use the phone to start playback. However, it works fine if I use the car's controls to start playback.
