I've never seen the wavy lines - only the semi-circular ultrasonic indicators. For me, those false ultrasonic detections would abort a lane change.
I did the full power off plus airplane mode today plus on/off on many of the autopilot settings. Can't hurt.
Only had a short drive today. No lane change issues and no false detections that I saw.
