Are there any emails after you get confirmed, or did you just hammer F5 on your My Tesla page every day?

There was no email regarding my Production 41X VIN assignment (12/23 is when I noticed it), but this morning I received an email with the subject: "Your Model X Delivery!"

My eXcitement was tempered after I read it and learned the purpose was to identify my Delivery Experience Specialist (DS):

I certainly appreciate how he points out your one-week window to make changes..... over a month after that window has elapsed.

Lots of speculation but no real rhyme or reason. If the Sigs are any indication TM skipped all over the place on actually building them. Vin 600's were delivered before 2oo's. We'll just have to wait & see.

Here's what the email said:

Congratulations on your Model X order! I know we are still pretty far out from when your Model X will go into production, however, I wanted to reach out and introduce myself as your Delivery Specialist. I will be your main point of contact from now until you take delivery. We are estimating your Model X will be ready the middle part of 2016. I will reach back out to you when we get closer to your car going into production and of course if anything else comes up. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly.
Note: Please wait until we get closer to delivery to input your trade-in info (if applicable) since this application does expire. At your convenience, you can log onto your MyTesla Account and fill out all your information and upload a copy of your driver’s license and your current insurance card. Oh okay, so having a DS assigned isn't as significant as having a VIN. Hopefully we can get more info from the DS.

So interesting how the DS's give such different information across the board. My car went into production two days ago and the DS said she had no idea when I would take delivery and wouldn't even give me a ball park estimate.
