Here are the modified graphs, I moved the date reserved / Confirmed to the X Axis.
In both graphs you can see that they are batching the VIN Assignments similar to the batching of the configurations.

Just roughly extrapolating here, it looks like another batch of VIN assignments should be coming up in the first days of February, although it looks like the batches are getting smaller. I'm guessing they don't want the pipeline too full, just busy enough so there's always a good chunk of work to do.
Agree that these graphs are cool. The smaller batches may just be less time for people to realize that there is a place to enter and track this data. The size of the latest batches may have been the same, just those owners haven't posted yet.

Are all of the blue production data points performance models? If possible it would be nice to see the production divided between P90D, 90D, and 70D.
Correct. Only P90Ds have had VINs assigned thus far. Once there's a mix of models it would make sense to split up the chart.

Really nice, thanks. If it's not too big an ask, may I suggest adding a line at y=x so that the vertical distance between that line and each data point is the wait between confirmation and VIN assignment? Then we can see, over time, if they're starting to assign VINs nearer to the confirmation date which would suggest they're getting closer to steady state production
He said about two weeks ago that it would be delivered in 6-8 weeks. No concrete date for delivery though.

I was told that by the DS that my Production P90DL Vin #20X was being built two weeks ago, but my tesla profile still only says "order confirmed". He also told me that no delivery date has been given to him. Interesting that you where told 6-8 weeks and that the parts are being stamped. It seems we might be in the same batch.

Ordered everything except ludicrous and sound upgrade
so far that's all I've heard - haven't seen anything yet about delivery dates. Need to give them a call tomorrow and see if I can get more info!

I called them today and they estimated that my car would be ready in the mid-March/early-April timeline (I live in the NY area). They said that the delivery specialist should be contacting me in the next 1-2 weeks.
