Q3 inventory Free Supercharging

Hello,

Just got my P3D+ on 9/30.

I was told 9/27 by the Tesla Sales Rep that if I got the inventory model that was in Tesla Tysons Corner VA, Id get free lifetime supercharging as a final Q3 incentive.

I keep getting written email and verbal communication from him that I should be all set with it, But in app I am still seeing charges, and it Says Pay Per Use Supercharging when I login to my account.

Anyone get the Last call Inventory incentive? Anyone find out how to get this fixed? I have emailed CS and they say I had to pre-order before 8/1 to get that benefit, which just isnt true. Elon has said himself it was until 9/17.

New to community, Love everything so far besides this last bit. Thanks everyone!

I was about to post a similar question.

I have a RWD picked up just prior to end of the quarter, and was given 1 yr of free supercharging (not lifetime). Also seeing Pay Per Use in my account (and I’ve charged, so my account shows an outstanding balance).

I received a signed letter from the sales manager at delivery verifying the year of charging, but he didn’t seem confident re: how I would actually get it. He suggested that I just charge, not add a credit card to my account, and then when I bring the car in for maintenance eventually the service center could zero out the balance. I’m worried, though, that at some point I won’t be able to charge as I can’t imagine Tesla allows you to just rack up an unlimited balance.

Any ideas? I emailed the support address available on my account page and haven’t heard back for a week.

In my case I don’t see any cost information when plugged into the Supercharger, my account has no billing or charge history page, and I haven’t seen any credit card charges (though I removed my card at the suggestion of a Tesla sales rep). My account still shows “pay per use” on the account page under vehicle details, though.

Whenever I’ve asked they’ve said it’s a problem they’re working on.

Same thing here. Nowhere on my app or account webpage do I see any billing page, but it does state pay per use.

I have an AWD and got 1 year free charging. Still shows pay per use and I have seen the charges come through on my CC.

I have reached out to Tesla and received responses of confusion and uncertainty. Finally, after countless escalation someone replied back with this:

Thank you for reaching out to the Tesla Executive Care Team and congratulations on your new Model 3!

We have confirmed you do have 1 year of Free Unlimited Supercharging. Adding Supercharging is a manual process and we are working diligently to fix this for our customers.

The configuration change should go into effect by the 22nd of October. Until then please feel free to use the superchargers and any sessions will be refunded back to your Credit Card or reimbursed via check in the mail.

I've stopped charging at home now... lol.

Where can you tell where the free/pay supercharging is on your account and the app?

And I also was referred by a friend and they said I got hooked up with $100 credit for supercharging

On your account page when you login to the Tesla website, you can click the details on your Tesla and in the top right it will have your configuration. It should have the supercharging details.

Correct, I haven't heard of a single Model 3 showing the correct status for their Supercharger status. I got an email today from Tesla telling me I'm on the list for free supercharging which they'll update as a batch process when everything is figured out. They will process a refund for any paid supercharging sessions that have already occurred.

Don't worry guys, just hold onto your butts.

I too was contacted Tesla and offered free supercharging if would agree to pick up the car September 30th, which I did (there was no mention of 1 year). When I picked up the car I asked about it and couldn't get an answer. Then the Delivery Assistant left us with a "Tesla Volunteer" and literally disappeared from the face of the earth. My wife and I searched everywhere for him. We even asked the attendant at the sign in desk and they couldn't locate him either. We asked the attendant about the free supercharging and of course the check in attendant told us to see the delivery specialist. I told her that no one including herself could find him, she just shrugged. Have been in contact with Tesla (Las Vegas Center) and they emailed me my delivery documentation (DMV paperwork etc. that we never received). The Tesla center in Las Vegas ( I am in Los Angeles) is "working on" the free supercharging they offered me but nothing yet. I love the car, the delivery was...well BAD! Tesla needs to make this right. I made an agreement and I lived up to my side they now need to live up to their side,

So funny that Elon says that program should have ended long ago as it's too expensive, yet it refuses to die. Sure would love to have free supercharging, but all the other things that my car does right, I'll live.

Only cost me $24 to go to LA this weekend. No other vehicle I have will do it for less than $30 (Hypermile the 2000 Honda Insight). My RVs would be almost $200 or $650 if I found diesel for under $4, which it wasn't. Definitely talking the Tesla to Washington next week, it will pay for the hotel room when we get there in savings. Assuming there is as much free charging as there is in LA.

I had sent a message through the customer service form on the Tesla site last weekend. Just got this response:

“Thank You for contacting Tesla Service Support! I do apologize for the delay in our response. From what I can see on your account, you have unlimited free supercharging. Please allow 30 days for this update to reflect on your account.“

This is the first time someone other than the sales guy has confirmed it’s there on my account. Everyone else (DA, people at delivery) either wouldn’t answer or said “if you’re supposed to have it, it will be on your account”. Given that I don’t see any price information when charging and no fees have been charged, I’m content with this answer.

I’m now unable to supercharge because this is still not resolved and I didn’t add a credit card to the account (car shows constant error that supercharging is disabled due to outstanding balance). Called the service center and they said they’d “send a ticket to corporate” and that in the meantime I should call the phone number located on the sticker on the superchargers (which they didn’t have).

Has anyone gotten this resolved yet?
