Question About Ordering - Time Frames?

I have seen here or on Reddit where most people see a timeframe on their order page after the order is placed- like in the right hand column, with "Expected Delivery 5-9 Weeks After Order" or something like that.

I don't have any mention of a timeframe at all on my order page, but rather a blanket statement that says something like, "We'll reach out to you when your delivery time is near."

Is that unusual?

Performance Model Y currently have no set date, for whatever reason. Contact your assigned service adviser for more specifics. Otherwise be patient it will be updated eventually. Knowing the date isn't going to make it arrive any sooner, so you'll be waiting either way.

Demand must be really high if they can't estimate a delivery for the AWD now.

Or supply constants of some kind.

Performance has no date either and don’t they use the same motors.
