I have a 2021 Plaid with FSD, have had the beta for about 18 months. I am realizing that i don’t use or trust FSD and would rather be getting the new software features sooner rather than waiting for the FSD branch to be updated. My question is if I turn off FSD does that get me in the queue for the nonFSD branch, or is it tied to the car and since I bought FSD, will be stuck on the FSD branch?

Since FSD beta is being integrated at this time into the normal updates, this removal from FSD Beta would be only a temporary thing, and it may take them months to "change" you to the normal updates, only to have you regain the software when it is finally integrated. You can turn off FSD, bu you are still in the different branch of updates. I think the only way to opt-out of the FSD beta is via email to [email protected].
