mine still just shows lootbox and videos. i think that may be good news.I just checked my App and now it doesn't just show Loot Box and Videos but all the other options it seems.
Does that mean anything at all or just coincidence? I was hoping it meant my car is somewhere being prepped.

In my experience, the car being in the app does not mean much. My car appeared in the app before I paid, was removed after I paid, and now I am waiting on it to re-appear again even after delivery. Essentially whether the car appears in the app seems to be based on the status of the car in some Tesla backend system. At the moment, it seems there are lots of instances were the backend states are out of whack. Obviously I should have the car in my app now, but I don’t... Tesla tells me to be patient and the backend will catchup.

I may be speaking out of my area here but it seems to have about 8 "slots" left. A majority of the other switches are very low numbers, most "20", the highest in there is "30". Again, I don't really know what I'm talking about, but learning! It'll also depend if your panel has space for the breaker or if you need to add a subpanel...
My panel was full so install of subpanel and the plug was just under 1200 bucks including having permits done-and this was within a few feet of the original panel
Thank you, and HUGE congratulations. It’s nice to always see people actually getting the golden unicorn after ALL!We brought our MSM 3 home today! Can't believe its actually here. It was dark by the time we got it home to its newly (today) installed HPWC so I'll do another inspection and get pics tomorrow. The pics we got at delivery didn't come with the, well, Tesla experience nor the ambience we looked forward to given that delivery in Raleigh is currently in an off-site remote location (more on this below).
Delivery Scheduling
- Originally selected Sep 27. Contacted after to arrange home delivery given the Raleigh issues, selected Sep 25.
- Sep 25 - waited 7 hours, no contact no delivery; learned car was still in Charlotte; rescheduled for Sep 28
- Sep 27 - dropped off final paperwork; learned 3 was in Raleigh remote lot but not prepped; promised home delivery Sep 28
- Sep 28 - waited 2 hours, no contact no delivery; called to learn no trucks available, went to pick up in the evening
Delivery
Cons - The delivery experience is rough - miscommunication, errors, temp location - be patient. The cars are not prepped awaiting your arrival and the status of paperwork and state of NC inspections is hit or miss so allow extra time. Given that the cars have been moved a lot in Charlotte and in Raleigh they come in very very dirty.
Pros - The delivery manager and the delivery team and the trainees are awesome and empathetic. Yes, the prep and communication between the office and the remote lot is not in synch but the manager worked with his team to make up the stagger. All hands on deck helping the detailer, doing inspections, installing mats, and reviewing the features. I can imagine how much better the experience would be with this same team in a stable SC. Even so, create your own experience - take pics, live stream, pop champagne - go for it.
Condition/Appearance
As mentioned, I'll do another inspection tomorrow including underneath, but so far only a few minor items that were logged to be address. There are a few small mars on the front and rear bumpers, likely from loading and transit, that already began to diminish when detailed (noted to manager and a panel check appointment is on the books). The frunk alignment deserves another look but the other 15 model 3's I saw had the same alignment. My mfg date is Aug 2018. I was expecting issues with the paint, alignment, charging door, etc given reports but first look impressed (more on this tomorrow).
I have a set of T-Sportline 19" TST wheels to install. With this said, I must say that after seeing them in-person I like the Aero's! Maybe it was their shine combined with the generous layers of Armor-All on the tires but they impressed.
First Ride
Wow - as other reviewers have said - Wow. Solidly planted handling, nimble, comfortable. The first ride did not include any quick starts but you can feel its capability when taking off and passing. I set the lights to Auto and figured out how to enable Autopilot once I got home. Mobile Access is not yet enabled pending the delivery team entering their info. All other features and functionality working fine.
I was shocked at the number of drivers and passengers craning and pointing. Some sped up to look while others checked out the 3 at the stoplights. Be prepared to be kind of a big deal (said humbly). I am reminded of the posts of others describing interest and conversations from others while out and about and running errands.
Pulling into the garage and plugging in the HPWC was a trip. I have a BMW plug-in hybrid but knowing the Tesla never has to go to a gas station hit me - mind blown.
More to come!
Delivery scheduled in Raleigh for tomorrow- have heard 0 from anybody local about it.
calling Raleigh delivery gets you no answer and a full voicemail box unable to leave a message.
Original ISA hasn't replied to emails in over a week.
Different ISA who I managed to get on the phone like 5 days ago did reply to email yesterday morning claiming she'd check if car reached Raleigh and call me about it- she never called and now she isn't replying to email either.
Confidence is low presently.
Keep calling until someone answers. I had to call about 5 times in a row before someone answered. Once you get someone on the phone they are always courteous and helpful.
Good Luck......Funny follow up...a couple hours ago unable to get any contact with anyone else, I reached out to a Customer Experience Specialist guy I met at the Raleigh location like 8 months ago when I did a 24 hour test drive of a model S- he's whoever the "real" sales guy had handle minor stuff with me back then, but I happened to have his email address... (I had the email of the the actual sales guy too- but he never replied when I emailed him a couple weeks ago with questions).
THAT guy got back to me just now....
To tell me the car IS in Raleigh, but they are doing deliveries at another location which is 25 miles away from where I was expecting to be going.... which is indeed the Wilmington St lot folks mentioned recently....
That's fine, they're actually both roughly similar distance from where I live.... but it would've been nice if someone from Tesla had actually let me know, otherwise only way I would've had a clue not to go to Westgate would've been from this thread.
That said, once I DID get in touch with that guy, he was great- not only did he tell me the address and confirm my car was there- he texted me a picture of it.
Asked him what he liked to drink so I can buy him a bottle of it- he's been vastly more helpful and responsive than anybody whose actual job it is to help me has been in this process.
Now just have to keep my fingers crossed everything with it is good at pickup.... and that the ~25 miles I now need to drive it (instead of 25 feet) to the PPF place doesn't hit me with any bad luck/random rocks
I did a thorough check today of the exterior, interior, and underneath and no additional quality, alignment, nor damage was found with this Aug 2018 build. I'll check again in tomorrow's new light since I'm still in the 48hr review/return window. We brought our MSM 3 home today! Can't believe its actually here.
