Rear camera loss during reverse

2 times yesterday, when I put my M3 in reverse my screen went black. I retried with no luck. Had to activate camera by pushing the big “dot” on the lower left of the screen. Momentary Glitch? Or a new problem? Anybody else?

Has been a persistent problem for the entire year I have had this car. Sometimes it gets better and then it reverts to happening more often than not. Always annoying. It cracks me up that people think we are close to FSD capabilities when they can't even figure out how to fix this consistent problem.

I have had it occasionally be slow going from the black screen to camera, but eventually appearing (maybe 5 to 10 seconds.) Yesterday for the first time, I put it in R and the display stayed on the map screen. I had to finally put it in P than back in R to get the camera.

Mine has been black for 3 days now with a bunch of hard and soft resets. I’m really tired of this since the 3 has such a large back end and it’s hard to see while in reverse without the camera.

Tesla says up to 10 seconds for a camera view is acceptable. There’s a change that has occurred. I hope they get this bug worked out.
