Rear Seat Lock

Hi there, does anyone know where I can buy the TesBros Droplock that locks the rear seats (and is a visible deterrent) in the UK? The shipping is more than the item cost from the US

Jumping on the back of this if anyone nows where we can download stl files to print the locks that would be really helpful. I've looked before, but didn't have any luck.

A search for "tesla seat lock" on Thingiverse brings up a couple of contenders, one of which would fit the bill of being a visible deterrent.

What's the point? I can't see it's really likely that anyone who was going to break in would be less likely. Have you locked seats upright in other cars ?

Agreed. The smash and grab ne'er-do-wells that populate this car thievery sector are unlikely to notice the seat locks until after they have smashed your window. Pyrrhic victory.

I also would be interested in the original droplocks.
Although as I routinely carry rather large reptiles, I only wish I am there to see the look on the face of the ne'er-do-well who realises he now has hold of the wrong end of an angry 16ft python

Wouldn't wish it to happen to you of course, but oh that would be an amazing sight to see!

I am interested too. My thought with the Droplocks is that although they may still smash, it might well stop the grab. When what's in the boot has more personal value than the quarter glass.

In answer to those who said "whats the point"....I want them. Simple. My choice.

Any other positive responses as to where we can get them or is it a "swallow it" moment with the carriage?

Do you want the visible deterrent or the locking ability? It would be very easy to make a dummy drop lock or even just print some stickers. Making the real thing wouldn't be that harder, but it would be wrong to copy someone else's design.

Both - visible and locking. I will contact TesBros and see if they will just send them normal postage. I mean they cant weigh much....

I'd be quite happy to print a (very) limited number for the uk, if they were happy to share the stls.

No problem. Stops me printing geckos for the kids
