I'm driving a 2020 M3. We have enough batteries and panels to power the house unless we get 2 or 3 rainy/cloudy days. Which, as unlikely as it seems, happens even in Catalunya. And short days in winter can limit our use of the heat pump. Fortunately we have a wood to feed our stove 😁

After replacing the battery in the wife's Model 3 fob, none of the buttons work. The fob will lock/unlock the car by touching the B pillar and start the car by placing it on the console...just like the key card. But nothing else. Double pressing the frunk or boot "buttons" have no effect...

I have run both acoustic and non-acoystic PS4s. I couldn't tell any sonic difference...even with my hearing aids turned up ;) Now running Hankooks and think they may be quieter. YMMV.

I think Musk is outsourcing the proliferation of SCs and the marketing thereof to the "majors". He's committed to growing the sites already extant and improving reliability. Time will tell.

I got mine done at Mr Clutch in Luton. I took the gen and they were compliant and eager to please. I've had MOTs and brakes done there for 10+ years. Ask for Dave.

What more could you ask for? McDonalds, Starbucks, Costa, Halfords and, er, Poundland just a few steps away ;) And Aldi's just across the throughfare with their handful of slow chargers. Not far from J10 of the M1 and adjacent to Luton Airport Parkway that occasionally has running trains...

I went for the Rimetrix covers... curb rash easily dealt with a spray can and they also cover historical whoopsies. Cost about the same as redoing three wheels that met their fate from injudicious parking. I collected them on a trip to the US. Just about fit in a suitcase ;-) PS The car...

Another factor which drove us to Ulys is the mere €5 bump for French motorway recovery. Thanks to Emovis initially for introducing us to easy French/Spanish toll booth egress... Thanks for the Revolute investigation... I've been using Rev's easy no-fee exchange to wedge up my Spanish back...

Amen. The Destination Charge at the parador at Argomaniz is a favourite - a bit tight maneuvering in the garage but free juice is worth the care ;-)

My feelings exactly until I encountered Electra in France. The notice said I could be charging in a minute. I said "Go ahead, punk. Make my day ;-)" Damn if it didn't give forth lots of KW with a charge card swipe - and I had an app that might have worked too (Electromap).

I'm beginning to think this is a "lesson" built into every Tesla: forget their roadside promise. Same thing happened to me. AA guy came out and did the temp patch and told me to get a real internal patch within 50 miles (company policy). Importantly, he gave me the tip about the plastic...
