Recent MYP Delivery Estimates

Ordered 10/22. Finally picked up today.

Disappointed in the car. Lots of paint defects. Drips, fisheye, the entire drivers side looks to be repainted and rough. There were even yellow marker pen marks pointing at the defects that weren’t fixed.

4-5 large ding/small dent impressions near the front passenger door handle. It was pretty bad.

Missing tire inflation kit. I was also surprised to see the mobile Charger now only comes with 110v adapter. I inquired and the NEMA 220v adapter is sold out and unavailable.

It’s my 5th Tesla. I’ve come to expect this sort of quality. I’ve forgiven them in the past, but man, how is Tesla going to compete against other companies that don’t have these persistent quality problems?

On a positive note, I know they’ll fix it. The ride quality was better than the ‘21 MYSR I sold a couple months ago. It’s fast and fun.

However, Nobody knows how long that is, and I'm not trying to find out! SA told me 3 day windows aren't exactly TRUE! Keep you posted!

Anyone in AZ waiting for vin? I and my friend's EDD changed to feb 8th - Mar 8th. May be tesla waits for the entire transport truck to get full and ships all the cars going to a location at once

Originally 2/27 - 3/27 then quickly to 2/19 - 3/5, and ultimately 2/13-19.

Starting to get anxiety about taking delivery Feb 15 when the 4680 is around the corner. Hoping we're making the right call accepting delivery.

Jeez .. I don’t really care about the 4680s, but seeing reports like this - still - makes me wonder whether I should wait for Austin. Inexcusable.

My 2020 Model 3 came with a 110 adapter and a J1772 adapter and that’s it. I bought the 14-50 adapter separately on Tesla’s site.

I think they stopped that with the 2020 models, I vaguely remember reading about the uproar back then. Same thing with homelink IIRC.

They haven’t come with a nema 14-50 for over two years , my March of 2020 model 3 didn’t come with it

It was in 2019. I have a June 2019 M3, and it did not come with the 14-50 adapter.

You have to watch stock. I managed to be looking when a 10-30 adapter came in stock and grabbed one.
