Recent MYP Delivery Estimates

Just got vin! Here is my experience:

OD: 10/7
EDD: December > 11/3 - 12/1 > 11/8 -11/22 (last Monday)
VIN today (11/1) MF305

MYP Black on Black, tow, fsd in Texas

Will be proceeding with delivery and not waiting to hear back on the build or a 22 model.

The "VINs right away" still seems suspect to me......the earlier post about 5 hours? Come on.

Maybe we should check the actual VIN number.
Mine from 10/29 is MF30650x. I saw one above is MF305xxx but received 11/01.
Not a very large gap between dates though. I'd assume 305 will be ahead in the queue than 306

Tesla's EDD is very much inconsistent. Ordered MYLR end of August, EDD keeps changing every week. Even got an EDD for March 2022.

Then on Oct.29th, Tesla agent called called that he has VIN for us and will be available this week. Picking up Nov. 3rd.

I guess Christmas came early.

There are some vocal I want mine now folks here and that is totally understandable. But for every one of them there are 20 not on the forum that are already holding up orders, or planning to if that tax break passes. Which will def speed your availability of VINs in next few weeks.
One clue is they dont seem to be getting enough MYP orders to have pushed the broad EDD on the order page out of December. It’s just sitting there.
Many of us aren’t in a position to walk away from $8K or even a 50/50shot at it, especially since we’ll know pretty soon one way or the other.
Tesla will need to de something to boost deliveries before Jan. 1 if that goes through. Option offers, lifetime supercharging, speeding 2022 VIN designations early than planned, I dunno. Something.

Wow - congrats. Yesterday they gave you a Jan-Feb EDD and today a VIN with pick up in month? Nice.
