Either Tesla quality has improved or MYP has a much better suspension but after driving MYLR for 14k miles , MYP feels more solid and confident over bumps.
I’ve heard the suspension has improved front the 2021 to the 2022 Y. I saw a few YouTuber’s sting that’s Gjeebs channel had a guy that has owned both recently. He said he could notice the difference in ride quality.
Maybe let's not mention that until after I get my vehicle... too many LR to P switchers already.

I have 2022 MYP and find the suspension to be as good or maybe better than my 2019 model 3. Unfortunately, I find the MYP to have an annoying low frequency boom over all but the smoothest pavement. But that seems to only affect a small percentage of people.

Frequency boom?
Yeah, my hearing is just sensitive to the resonance of the interior and/or the frame. It's not unique to the Model Y. Several other crossovers have this issue for some drivers as well (Etron for example).

If you've driven one and not heard it, I wouldn't worry about it. Chances are good it won't be bothersome to you.

My EDD got pushed back about three hours ago to 5/28 - 6/01. On the bright side, I did finally get a VIN. F4444XX.

Once we have a VIN, can we call an SA to switch to financing and ask about specs of the car? Just want to make sure AMD Processor and all-seasons will be on it as well li-ion battery and heated wipers.

For reference, MYP, Red, No tow, no FSD (though, I might add it before delivery, not sure yet) Chicagoland area, IL

This actually ended up working out as my wife and I will be out of state this coming week.

Does anyone have the link to the delivery checklist?

Congrats!!!

That's right. They can look that up for you. I have only seen Ryzen and heated wipers lately though... I assume all MYPs come with matrix headlights? The two folks i talked with had no idea how to check this out but checked processor and other things.

It’s long. 😆

Check list

Model Y Checklist
This is available as a mobile app for iOS and Android, too.
This pre-drive checklist is designed to be done in a specific flow to save time and make sure nothing is missed. You will essentially do several "laps" around the car. Start at the beginning and work your way down the list. By the end, your car will be fully reviewed. Feel free to print this out and bring it, along with a pen. Don't feel like you need to rush through the inspection. The delivery team at Tesla will certainly seem like they want to move quickly, but you don't need to leave the lot until you're 100% satisfied. Take your time

I’ve heard the suspension has improved front the 2021 to the 2022 Y. I saw a few YouTuber’s sting that’s Gjeebs channel had a guy that has owned both recently. He said he could notice the difference in ride quality.
I hope that is the case! Initially ordered the MYLR but really love the look of the MYP (and the earlier delivery date doesnt hurt). Was concerned about the suspension as i heard MYP is a bumpier ride and i have a newborn, but pulled the plug yesterday and switched to MYP yesterday!

I'll reiterate... I did the LR vs P comparison (test drives and long trips) and found a very slight worse suspension on P. To get a better suspension you need a better car as both are the same (upgrade tires on P). Thou shalt not repent the MYP order

oh darn. I do see a lot of people switch out the tires for smaller 19s and they say it feels better after that. But i also know MYs themselves do not have amazing suspension as it is..so i am..slightly concerned but prepared. Feeling some REGRETS already!

Towards the end of the video. 15-16 minutes. The Model Y owner takes Gjeebs on a ride. The Y owner did put on thicker tires. But he says the ride was better before the new tires.
