If you took care of final payment, you should be able to. Once I did my advisor called and said the car is set to arrive 6/17 to my pickup center, however the earliest they can schedule a pickup due to their internal process, setting up temp tags etc would be 6/20. Although currently we scheduled it for 6/22

We don’t have to pay before we get the car like some states. I’ll be paying after I inspect the car. Also need to give them a check from my financing company

Congrats! I haven't confirmed what tires mine has installed. for the Michelin AS, although, someone with the same specs and similar delivery here in Colorado confirmed theirs has the Pirelli's. I'm hoping I get to schedule my pickup date today or tomorrow. I will have about a 45 minute drive to my pick up location. Unfortunately, the location that's only about 10-15 minutes from my house caught fire last summer and hasn't reopened. On the plus side, depending on date and time of pickup, I'll have a fast and scenic drive on C470.

It's true that the drive home on C470/NWP will be more fun than just driving a few minutes down McCaslin.

For all the MYLR switching to MYP..I'm curious if you drove the car.. It's a more aggressive drive IMO.. If I was a LR driver, I couldn't imagine making the switch.

Just traded in my 3LR for the myp
I miss my 3 already. But this car serves a different purpose for me and it’s great for why I got it So many awesome features with this new car including auto trunk closure.
The biggest issue for me so far is the loss of low regenerative braking on all new teslas. Need to bring that back.

Got a text that my VIN is assigned! (VIN 7SAY...F460) New EDD is June 12-18. My SA thinks it was canceled VIN, since the car is not in California, and already almost to New Mexico(I'm in Texas). But he said it's same configuration I ordered from the start (w/all weather tires).

I'm trying to decide between another M3 or a MYP. The price difference between the MYLR and MYP makes the P fairly attractive and the range loss is a lot less than the range loss on the M3P vs M3 LR.

Depends on why you’re getting the car
The 3 is so much more fun to drive. But range and size are other factors

TBH, I was considering buying one to rent out though I finally found some 3rd-party info on Turo and it sounds like most of the hosts aren't really happy and there is still a significant adverse selection problem with their renters. Plus a lot of reports that Turo's insurance and shady claims process leaves hosts holding the bag.

Really I love my M3LR and the only benefit I see with the MY for me personally is that I can fold my seats down for my dog because the aperture is a lot larger than on the M3. I rented an MY on Turo a few months ago on a biz trip where Hertz cancelled on me and I honestly didn't really like driving an SUV again after so many years on sedans.

I am renting out my 2020 M3LR right now to try it for the first time. I'm waiting on a new charger to be installed in my garage and it worked out time-wise since I was on-call this weekend and it's hot as *sugar* so I wasn't doing much but staying indoors this weekend anyways.

Assuming, I'm not unlucky enough to have a disaster on my first try, at least it will cover a nice car cleaning & the shop vac I bought because the carwash place I subscribe to charges $35 for a half-ass interior clean on top of the $39/month I pay to run through the exterior whenever I want.

CA Original order date 3/7/22 MYLR white, Gemini no add ons, EDD was Dec 22
6/5 EDD got pushed to March 23-june 23 (got pissed and annoyed)
6/6 YOLO and changed order to performance edd August 23-oct 23
6/7 EDD changed to June 16-june 30
6/11 got VIN edd June 14-18

What y'all make of this data? I'm an hour away from Fremont factory. That would mean from original order date of the LR to new EDD of P is only 90+ days wait.

Yeah, I think the MYP are usually delivered in about 90 days. They probably treat you like you had MYP order from beginning, which puts you in the beginning of the lineup.
