Like many.. stock MXM4 down to 4/32” at 21k miles.

crossclimate 2 is my vote. Costco has a deal until 2/26.

Have them on two SUVs and its been a great all season tires.

Only headache now is stay stock size or go up to 245/45/18’s

@mOny718 245/45R18 has my vote and is what I've been running on stock-size 18x8.5" wheels. A little bit of extra tread width, sidewall, and diameter seem like positives.

I highly doubt I could "feel" the difference between 245/45 vs 235/45 of the same tire, it's certainly not a big deal difference, but on paper I like the 245/45 slightly more and it doesn't cost any more (as I recall, for the tires I was consider) - so why not? :)

For what it's worth, my first Tesla came with 245 on 8.5" wide wheels, and so did my last ICE car.

all good points. I am going with the 245s for sure.

I saw the options weren’t as many, but have you considered 245/40/18 tires?

Any good or bad points on them?

I really didn't want smaller diameter than stock. 245/40R18 would make speedometer inaccuracy worse, and seems likely to make the odometer count quicker too, which I wouldn't want.

I think 245/40R19 would be a good tire size for this car though - note 19" size, either 19x8.5" or 19x9".

I was switching from the M3P 235/35R20 setup specifically to get more sidewall / rim protection from poorly maintained roads. So fitting more sidewall was basically the goal. I did waffle back and forth between 19" and 18" before deciding on 18".

Note even though those are aftermarket wheels, they're the same size as the regular Model 3 18" aero wheels, and the effective offset (track width i.e. where they sit) is essentially the same after accounting for M3P PUP brake rotor's thinner hat.

The first photo is on stock 2021 M3P suspension. The other two photos are on coilovers, but set within 2-3mm of stock M3P height. So basically stock height still. Tires in all three photos are 245/45R18 Bridgestone Potenza Sport.

Right now I have Goodyear UHP allseasons on those wheels. Same 245/45R18 size. The allseason tread does give a slightly different look IMO, I'll take a picture when I have a chance.
