Tesla offered me $66,100 for my Performance Model Y, I only paid $68,900 for it and it has 21,000 miles...I think that was a pretty good offer.

Yeah it’s generally 2 weeks to most east coast locations, extra stops can add a day or 2Tesla said my Plaid is in transit to Raleigh NC and should arrive Mar 9th. Was hoping to get my claws on it sooner lol. It takes 2 1/2 weeks to transport a cars from Cali to NC??????

So not terrible but I told them they need to fix those minor things before my delivery. Which by the way, was moved to tomorrow.
They can make about 1300 Y’s with 1 mil cellsTesla has announced that they built 1 million 4680 cells in January. Where did they go? How many cells are in one car?
I wasn’t allowed in the car. They wouldn’t even let me inspect the outside but I found it anyway and did it.For an exterior this actually looks surprisingly good for a refreshed Model X (it would still be bad for basically any other brand of car, of course).
Jury is still out on the interior I assume (since you didn't get to open it). Were you able to spot the yoke worm?
I like your attitude, way to go. I would do the same. And good luck tomorrow.I wasn’t allowed in the car. They wouldn’t even let me inspect the outside but I found it anyway and did it.
On my way home they called me to ask if I wanted to have them deliver it at home tomorrow. That I’d have to “accept” for it to be done. I laughed and said hell no. I also told them about the issues I found and they said they’d look into them to fix before I arrive tomorrow. They had me email them pictures and all. They called back saying that in order to fix the panel issue they’d have to move other stuff that could make things worse. I told them they had a day to figure it out.
100% the correct response. Well done, sir! You are a pro.I told them they had a day to figure it out.
I actually believe that. Close enough. It’s like when my kids try to clean up play-doh on the carpet. Don’t let them touch it.I wasn’t allowed in the car. They wouldn’t even let me inspect the outside but I found it anyway and did it.

I forgot... one more question about your exterior. How was the paint on your bumper? My reject (also white) had a horrible mismatch. Another white delivery in a different thread looked the same. Just a much warmer tone on the bumper.I wasn’t allowed in the car. They wouldn’t even let me inspect the outside but I found it anyway and did it.

Your bumper looks good to me, but it might also require direct sunlight to really see the color temp variation. Hopefully they've actually just fixed the problem, but try to get a good look at it again at delivery if you can. Here are all of my pics. Maybe some of you will find things I didn’t see.
That looks horrible, I would reject that and be done with Tesla.I forgot... one more question about your exterior. How was the paint on your bumper? My reject (also white) had a horrible mismatch. Another white delivery in a different thread looked the same. Just a much warmer tone on the bumper.
I remember this was also a big issue with the Model 3 ramp. At some point the theory was that the paint bonds to the plastic of the bumper differently than the aluminum... which makes sense... but also isn't our problem (Tesla should be capable of matching the colors).
EDIT: Here's the other poster's photo (as an example of the bumper paint mismatch).

Dude looks you got a good one based on the exterior. Not seeing any orange peel with the paint, bumper matches, alignment appears acceptable. Just push to let them open/close the wings especially and all doors/frunk/trunk a few times and check for metal rubbing. That’s the alignment test. Curious if others see anything serious. Here are all of my pics. Maybe some of you will find things I didn’t see.
Not for meAwesome so looks like this month they are completing January 2021 orders
Have deliveries had ANY rhyme or reason thus far? Anything is possible.Based on what?
