The consensus is it's a supply issue for 5/7 seaters. Someone noted awhile back that Tesla likely still uses a 3rd party for their bench, and that could be the slowdown there.
No delivery date yet, SA says before end of the year (Will be shipped via train per him)
Others posted they got fobs talk to your delivery agent.
Other news went to Cleveland to pick up my 2021 Y hold over vehicle and they have 1 White/Cr 6 seater in the lot waiting for delivery. FWD line up pretty good gaps weren't bad. Dirty from transport still.

Perhaps they cannot make 6 and 5/7 seaters at the same time. Once Q1 rolls around, they may switch gears and start producing 5/7 instead and no 6 seaters.
You are seeing more 6 bc they called and told ppl they would get it quicker if they did switch. Likely a large portion. Look at the # that originally ordered 6 probably lower.

Congrats! Not going to lie though, I am having a hard time wrapping my head around this. My order is from 10/29/2020 and no VIN.
But do you have a 6 seat configuration? It's pretty obvious the second row bench that a 5 and 7 seater use is not available, so the order date will be meaningless if you have one of those configurations. Not sure if your location could be a contributor. Also, when did you confirm your refresh order?
Sure do! I was called on 10/12/21 and told if I switch to 6 seater I would be guaranteed delivery this year. Was assigned a VIN on 11/30, it was removed for some reason on 12/1 after wiring money, getting loan/insurance. Been in contact with SA, but he said he’s not sure when I will get a real VIN.

And color interior and location. I’m also 10/2020 6s and I was told May due to my white interior and east coast location. According to the delivery specialist I spoke with they are only producing black interiors now.
I know what you mean, but I am in Michigan, there have been VINs assigned and cars delivered or scheduled to be delivered in Chicago, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Ny and I believe one scheduled in MI this week. There has also been white interiors delivered, a few of them on this thread alone. A few more I have seen on FB groups. Even the drone footage shows white interiors. Mine is Blue/white 6 seat 20 in wheels with fsd. I know it’s just a car, and I am happy that things are moving forward, just want mine too!! Haha.

I hope you’re right and this fellow was wrong. But I was told as of last week they are only making black interiors.

Damn well better! I’m hanging out here with a 1/14/21 order date in Minneapolis and won’t feel confident in my ETA until other local midwestern deliveries happen.
