Just got a text from someone at Tesla asking if i plan on trading in because they don’t see it on my account. IT’S BECAUSE YOU WON’T LET ME DO IT UNTIL YOU ARE ABOUT TO DELIVER THE CAR!

Maybe it’s a sign i’m getting close. who knows.

I got catfished with this same thing. EDD said 1/28-2/15, no vin. Accepted my trade and the date switched right back to the original date of August 2022.

Today marks 1 month since getting my VIN assigned and a week since cancelled delivery and no new information at all. This really sucks. EDD changes every morning.

We have the same situation. Makes me wonder how close our VINs are to one another.

Does the more specific delivery date range mean things are moving? I check the Tesla site daily for updates — how often do they update the delivery dates?

Yes and then once you get a VIN it narrows to a 4 day window

I have a Plaid X being delivered 2/16. I received a text three weeks ago asking me to switch from the 5 seat version to the 6 seat in exchange for a $6500 credit. My MVPA (motor vehicle purchase agreement) does not reflect that credit. I texted the rep and she said the MVPA will not change and reflects any credits due me. I've read on here that the credit does not appear until 3 days prior to delivery. Is it possible my rep is mistaken or doesn't know how Tesla is handling these credits?

Yes. It is possible.
Their qualifications:
1) many of them are generally nice people.
2) some of them have creative imaginations.
3) that is all.

Tesla will generate a new MVPA closer to (or at) your delivery time, which will show the price adjustment. I wouldn't worry about it. (Well... I actually was but it turned out to be needless)

I have my pickup on Monday, and today I saw a “referral credit” of $6500 added to my vehicle pricing to offset the free upgrade to the 6-seater. Some of the $6500 came out of my financed amount, some out of the due at signing amount.
