I just requested that Drag Times rerun the 0-60 test and they've agreed to do so after I shared this and other similar threads. January 2018 they clocked a 0-60 of 4.66. It will be very interesting to see what they come up with and hopefully this puts the speculation to rest...good or bad.

Keep in mind they use a vbox which doesn't count the roll out time. His run, which was 5.1 seconds, was exactly what Tesla advertised.

The Dragy app crowd sources lots of real world acceleration data. Many cars may be slow because drivers aren't fully charged or have fat friends in their cars when testing, but the data of the best runs show consistent acceleration times with no drop off . That data kills this thread.
