RHD VIN assignment and delivery

I remember seeing somewhere recently that TESLA is negotiating with Hong-Kong Gov the extension of this tax exemption.
Mine finished production yesterday (10th) & the email notification said delivery late Jan - early Feb. Can I ask what yours said when it came though & if your DS was able to give different info? Tried to contact mine to see if she knew different but she's off until Monday.
My DS said completion on 7th and late December delivery but I then I got an email from Tesla advising completion on the 4th, it said late December/early Jan delivery.
My Tesla currently says on transit form the factory.
Seems I just missed the boat (literally!) & won't be in the same delivery as you. Great news that yours is due so soon but I'm gutted that a 6 day production difference means a possible 6 week wait for mine

You guys are lucky to be finished- mine was due to finish manufacture 7 nov but is held up for parts apparently! So no Christmas present....
That's exceptionally annoying - what parts are they missing? It's all they do & they're making other cars
Mine has now changed from 'completed' this morning to 'in transit' now - Just going to have to wait for my DS to get back to work next week to tell me if it'all hopefully be turning up earlier than expected

Apparently the vendor of autopilot components is slow, so it was hinted. I have been in production for a couple of weeks now.
Among RHD countries, is there a country with side under mirror regulation? In Japan the government require large (yes it is not mid size here 
SUVs to have visibility to the front lower left, near the bumper. Some manufacturers have a single sticking mirror on the front left fender (which we call fungi mirror), some have special prizm-like door mirror that allows the driver to see front lower left as well, some have camera. Not sure what plans Tesla Japan have, though. Apparently fungi mirror is impossible, so they may drill into the left door mirror and install a camera there? In that case they also need to have some display for that too.

I was told that they are going to install a camera under the left mirror and place a small extra display on the dash on the right side, close to steering wheel. Following from prev posts, my X90d went into prodn on Nov 4, complete Nov 8, currently in transit. I spoke to the DS who confirmed a (very) late Dec to early Jan delivery window but that assumes absolutely no holdups, delays etc.
The car is confirmed to have the AP2 hardware and to request enhanced Autopilot its a matter of sending a request by email where upon it will be added to the order and into the car when it reaches Netherlands and the additional cost added. (I would have thought they would send a letter or somethign but this doesnt seem to be the case!)
You can also pay for full self driving but cant see this being approved any time soon. Any one got any UK insurance quotes/recommendations?

I've found Churchill to be good for Tesla's....not had a quote on the X yet though.
Hi - my X100D went into production 9th Nov, got an email saying it was finished 11th for delivery to the UK 'late December / January'. Hopefully on the same boat as yours. Question - my Tesla home page still says 'in production' but the email I received a few days ago says that is complete - does yours say 'in transit' or similar?
Very interested in what you find out on insurance, please let us know. I will do the same.
Finally I've not upgraded (yet) to the enhanced AP - I think I am going to be a gradual user on motorways etc, but do you think it is a no-brainer, or do you think it is safer than the regular AP1?
My Japan RHD production P100D finished production today! The Tesla DS said my delivery will be in March - maybe I already missed the boat for December delivery.
