Update- after 6 months ownership I can now get rated range with relative ease. You have to be very gentle on the accelerator though. Have been getting 180watt/Klm and lower.

My overnight drain (12hr) is 1 kilometre of range. I leave the fob in the car which has been discussed regularly but seems to have no effect except slows down the wake up process- sometimes 5 seconds.

Mine is the same, about 450 k. typical is the real world, rated near impossible.

Me too, I have closed doors on people several times so now the fob is left inside the car 24/7 except when out in public. Has no effect on vampire drain, I am finding I loose 1 klm per night.

Yep that is the product, bought on line for about $10.

Mine did it from day one until I lubricted all the rubber seals. I tried silicone first, which only lasted a day or two and was messy, then I got a German product that conditions rubber seals. No more noise in 3000k.

Update- I got my new windscreen under warrantee- the screen looks much better as the original screen had dips in it, but the ghosting is worse. I have accepted that a sloped screen is going to ghost, and I am over it.

Service in Brisbane say they are progressing on a fix to our issue- suggest you call your service guy and delivery guy and harass them to get it sorted!

I think my autopilot around town is a bit jinkier than it was before the update- anyone else? It's gone from "can not trust it" to " you can trust it to screw up!"

My auto park started working with 8.1 for parallel parking. I have only tried it a few times, it worked well 3 times and poorly once. Still timid to use it in a busy street.

Well my friend got his X last week and has near no sagging (manufacture defect) and reports no ghosting.

I got 8.1 twice a few days apart. The scratch pad is difficult to get up, I usually have to try 10 times before it appears. Seems only way to close it is to drag the other apps down over it? My autopilot seems to be getting a little better over time, anyone else?

The ghosting on my 6 week old X is pretty bad and my SC has agreed to replace the windscreen. I am told a new screen is on order. To my surprise, driving my wife's Lexus RX 450 H last week, I saw bad ghosting, but only about half as bad as the tesla.

Guys, my sig was in production about 3 or 4 weeks, and others were 1 day.

Mine came with a poxy 1.25" ball on the euro Swan neck thing which is useless- I have been begging for the 2" ball or better the square receiver but to no avail so far. I even emailed Bosal but surprise- they did not answer.

Mine work, but not as well as the Lexus seats which blow instead of suck. The Lexus gets icy. The x seats are sutle, like the aircon- it's not freezing but it seems to be cool and comfortable in very hot days.

Guys, the photo with the A50x is the bar across the rear of the car, under the plastic bumper. Tesla did tell me we Aussies got the euro tow kit. According to the instructions on how to decipher a tow bar part number on Bosal web site, this bar is not certified. However my SC told me yesterday...

I ordered the accessory hitch, and before configuring was told it's no longer avail and I would get free upgrade to tow pack. Then on delivery I got the surprise of having the useless accessory hitch. It looks like a 2" ball adaptor would slot in ok but the data plate on the actual tow bar...

Same here, also a breeze either direction has the same effect. I saw a post saying a software update soon will improve the front doors operation.

Yes, my steering wheel and brake pedal vibrate when aircon fan above 5. Hope to get it fixed soon!

I think it works pretty well, would like solid option. Also falls down over speed bumps.

I have had this since day 2, and now it is getting very bad and I feel it through the steering wheel. It is aircon related and fan speed varies the intensity and frequency. There is also a horrible noise. I hope to have it fixed this month, I don,t want the car back until fixed it is that bad.

At this time I have found no options for a spare, and there really is no room to carry a full size wheel so I cancelled my order for a spare and am winging it. bob Jane told me the sealant option often will get you out of trouble....

Tozla, to answer a few of your questions that are hanging- You will get notified of things happening on my tesla before your DS tells you anything encouraging. Just be like the rest of us and check it daily. I would call my DS at intervals of no more than two weeks, and he never had updates...

I have the accessory hitch, but going by pictures in this thread all I need is the 2" adaptor to plug into the Bosal receptical. The accessory hitch that came in a padded zip bag says on it 2000 lb trailer load max. But it has a small ball 1.25" which nobody uses here.

My new X delivered last week has significant ghosting. Did anyone get warranty windscreen replacement for this issue?

You don't hold for insure my tesla- email them off the tesla web site and they call you.

In my case and I believe all of Australia, probably all RHD, AP2 is totally non functioning and is not expected to be for some time. The only feature that works is basic cruise control.

It was to be first in Australia if someone had not screwed up with Dept of Transport. Not that it's important. We are all going to love these cars, hope you get yours soon!
