Wow- I am stumped why mine is delayed. Did you order full autonomous?
Yes and no.
Yes I did, but I then rang my DS a couple of weeks ago to delete EAP and Full autonomy (and the High Amperage Charger Upgrade). By paying Tesla an extra $3400 to enable those features on the day after delivery ends up saving me about $5300 in Luxury Car Tax and Stamp Duty.
Tesla gets a bonus $3400 for doing nothing and I save a total of about $1900. Win - Win.
When I get around to it, I'll write up a new post in the Australia & New Zealand forum so all us Aussies know about it and save a few dollars.

I'm doing exactly as you are, in fact if you are keen on the 22inch wheels, you'll save a little by purchasing afterwards, you also have a second set of wheels!

Well I had about 12 discussions confirming ordering the sig was not going to cost any more than production. When I raised this post delivery enabling issue 2 months ago I was told the pricing specialist team would be in touch, and they never did contact me despite being reminded. So I have been sitting back accepting the sig pricing for a vehicle arriving well before anyone else.
Now I am stranded in production wondering what the heck is going on if yours is "in transit". Sigh... maybe they are conditioning me for disappointment and I will get a big happy surprise when the vehicle rolls up next month!

I went into product two weeks ago and thats where it sits. "my tesla" shows no delivery date though i got a call from my DS saying if i wanted they'd bring it forward from feb to end of december/jan. Despite asking a few times since my spec still shows old hardware for autopilot (and despite paying the upgrade costs).

Nervous when most peoples vehciles seem to be in build for literally 3-4 days..

Chin up OzSimon.
My (Brisbane based) DS told me that production was being shuffled around quite a bit and that what was showing on My Tesla wasn't necessarily accurate. You'll probably get a nice surprise just before Chrissy with a brand spanking new red go-faster car. ;)

..... or they're having an issue with making enough 100kw battery packs for everyone who upgraded.

I like your optimism!

Ordered 11/08
Confirmed 11/16
Vin 11/17 - 301xx
Production que 11/17
Advised by sales agent delivery will be week of christmas

Are you trying to provoke us non-US Right Hand Drive owners with your timing on your LHD US delivery car? Or are you seriously indicating you have been able to order and queue a RHD car into production in less than 10 days when we've all been waiting since June and most with reservations over a year to 2 years!!

If the later, we all need to drink your kool-aid, please share!

Strange, my car has been "in production" for weeks - and still is. Even though my VIN is slightly lower than yours (2414x). Cannot figure out why MyTesla website is so poor and out of date. Seems very un-Tesla.

Does that mean you have the newer seats?

Wow - hard to get a insurance quote - the car is not on any insurance systems yet. Got a quote in the end from a broker that can underwrite own deals at £1600 - thats in London parked on drive (not garaged) - within the expectation range but nothing to compare to.

I am also finding it hard to find quotes. May be able to via Admiral (my current insurer), but again I've not investigated the X, only S for an equivalent estimate.....I am also in London (parking on a drive vs garaged) - do you mind me asking the name of the broker you have contacted?. I contacted my DS who suggested LV and Home & Legacy as two that might work.
