I noticed and ran into several issues with this.
First, curbs or parking bumpers; you park and the nose happens to overhang but clear the curb or parking bumper. Then as you are walking away you watch it lower itself on the curb/bumper and you hear creeks. Sure, don't park so far, but it cleared them when I parked, why change the height afterwards?
Second, parking on a slight slope in the snow/ice. As I was walking away, I noticed the height change which causes the tires to lose traction (spreading the footprint?) and the car slide several inches one time and a foot another time.
