SC confirmed for FSD upgrade(MCU1, AP2.5)

Mine was confirmed as well. MCU1 with AP2.5. I reconsidered and added an MCU2 upgrade to the scope today so alas, won’t have results to report back to you all on. But they did confirm my original appointment, even to the point of modifying my service type category from “other” to “Autopilot” or something like that.

So just installed FSD computer today with SW version 2020.12.11.5 and here is the first problems after 20miles driving.
1. No FSD visualizations option
2. Autopilot disengaged and cruise control disabled message appears(i did hard reset, no luck)
3. Ultrasonic sensors are super sensitive. Any objects close by it will continue to give warning chim, sooo annoying.

I made new appointment next week, hopefully new update can solve the issue.

I think you need to wait for the calibration to complete (drive it for a few more miles). Your screenshot above says it’s 93% complete.

Ok SC pushed out same firmware version again and now everything fixed.
1. Full FSD visualizations(You still dont see on Autopilot setting)
2. Sensor chim is gone.

At this point, unless you need for entertainment features, FSD is really no requiring MCU2. I dont feel any difference of speed on MCU1.

So are you saying that you're seeing full FSD Visualizations on MCU1 and related IC?

Please let us know how it behaves over the next few days. I'm about to go in for MCU2+AP3 Update,

Is the web browser improved with FSD computer and 2020.12.11.5 firmware ? Thanks.

I mean no extra lag after FSD upgrade. Of course you cant compare with MCU2.
