Make sure you do not use too long screws that might go through the OEM plate holder and risk damaging the paint.

Can't believe they market these as "security" Its a standard torx T25 head, everyone has a set of torx bits and/or drivers. Still a good option though.

6mm is suitable for a plate, add a frame and it would be wise to go with 8mm. For those not familiar with metric, a mm is about the thickness of a dime so we are not talking much here.

I ordered these from Amazon which you can choose different 4 sizes (6mm / 8mm / 10mm / 12mm), to be able to select the approprate one you required depending on the license plate frame you have.

For my case, I purchased the 10mm ones because the stock screws which is 6mm is about a few mm short to not be able to reach the mounting bracket with the WeatherTech ClearCover license plate frame.

My front plate screws were found in the trunk.
The car came with the front plate holder mounted.
