Second row seat heaters without sub zero package?

While taking my rear seats apart to wrap the seat backs I noticed these connectors and label. Does anyone think enabling heaters would be possible?

Even if you could power them up, you need the software too.

I'd love to be able to hack mine as well. Regret not getting sub zero.

Perhaps you can rig something to power them from the cigarette lighter.

You should to get the best results. It's not as hard ass it sounds.

I always wondered if more of the options that tesla offers were really just software enabled/disabled. The things that make up subzero package are fairly trivial bits of hardware to add to a car and are probably pretty low cost.

Good point.. the extra cost of a little wire (as in the PUP lights for the doors/puddle/etc.) are easier to always install. Here it's easier to have one type of seat, and connect only for Subzero purchases.

Lot lower cost when you don't need to have extra switches on the dashboard as in my BMW 328....
