Hugging MP today like fly on💩
With little buying power/volume flowing in, gonna be so easy to hit MP on a weekly basis for all of March since there's no catalyst until April 1st and even then, it's really a non factor. If Tesla beats on P/D numbers, the narrative will switch to margins. If they miss on P/D, well MM's never really seem to care that much about protecting MP to the downside so 🤷‍♂️

One little nugget though is Tesla is going to start giving out Energy deployment on the P/D numbers. One could possibly take this as a sign that Tesla knows they're about to start recognizing some completed project not only in this quarter but for the rest of the year. Otherwise, why bother including Energy deployment at all 🤷‍♂️

Then again I'm likely reading too much into it and Energy will be a non factor just like it was on the Q4 earnings 🥴

Annoying NVDA dump - is that RH closing out all the hopeless options that causes this? Something happens 15:10 on OPEX Friday...?

I was contemplating closing out the -p800's I sold today, was hovering on the sell, just waiting for it to clip 800 again, and meh!!!

May as well wait now, will roll them to next week... -p775 by the looks of it... still have 10x free to use in case-of...

On the plus side, I'm pretty confident 10x NVDA -p700 and 60x TSLA -c200 are going to expire!

Edit: I really shouldn't open positions on a Friday, always end up staring at them until close, good to be reminded that perhaps the last thing I really want to do is to be playing SPE 0DTE's!!!

Given how many folks seem to think we're not getting much past 205-209 then headed down, I'm kind of tempted to sell my +195 calls for March 1s that make up half of a +195c/-205c spread for that date if we get into that range tomorrow, leaving the short calls open (they'd be covered by shares at that point)-- and be ready to roll the -205c a little bit if needed till the pullback everyones expecting catches up... anybody think of a good reason not to?

FWIW the way the above ended up concluding was:

Sold the +c195s (bought at $4.67/sh) for $11/sh soon after my post above on 2/15, hung on to the -c$205s (sold at $2.32/sh) until this afternoon when I rebought for $1/sh... so net $7.65/sh for the 3/1 spreads originally opened 2/7.... I considered keeping the short calls longer to get that last dollar, but my schedule will be choppier next week as far as being able to keep an eye out for needing to roll so played it safe.

Right, decided to roll the 10x NVDA -p800's to same strike next week as this just seems a bit of profit-taking right now

So today was STO 10x -p800 @$5.1 -> BTC @$11.9 -> STO 3/1 @$25.1 (underwritten by 20x July +p800's)

And the 10x -p700's that expire for $28.1 profit, so NVDA going OK, for the moment...

Ending diagonal

An ending diagonal pattern is a bearish pattern that typically forms in the fifth wave of a five-wave impulse pattern. It is characterized by a series of lower highs and lower lows, with the decline becoming steeper as the pattern progresses.

My best interpretation is he’s saying **if** TSLA continues south aiming for Circle C ($155.96) to complete the larger corrective pattern, then this is part of B-wave of a zig zag ending diagonal down. It needs to take out >$205.79 to negate this path.

Any resident EW technicians please correct.

Not sure about making higher low and lower low but it sure seems we are consolidating at above 190 areas for days now as dl003 has mentioned.

Whether the dump this morning is enough to fulfil the recoil (not below 190 yet) for the bounce up or more pains ahead.
