I'm getting the feeling we are going to end the day green (or close to it)
The TSLA pop-and-fade breakfast special.
Did you take advantage of the dip to re-arrange to -C230 or left it as is?

If you're spooked by this volatility today then I would say you're taking on too much risk.
Left as is for now because the rolls don't change much. I need time value to burn off a couple more days as long as we don't get a China number pop tomorrow. The TSLA pop-and-fade breakfast special.

Yep, When I sold the 230CC last week the were way OTM with lower premium. I would not normally sell CC for $1 with 5 DTE like they are valued now.If you're spooked by this volatility today then I would say you're taking on too much risk
Not talking to anyone in particular here, well maybe myself, but I'm actually OK if we go to 200 or 250, there's a little pot of gold at both ends of the rainbow right now
Just sold 197.5 puts and from Friday 240 CCs, rolled from 220.Meanwhile I've added 205 strike puts for this week. That gets me into a 205 / 230 strangle and I'm feeling good about that.
Big thanks to all the contributors here, from a largely silent observer who occasionally swing trades. One thing I can say with certainty is once the gap has been tested, we'll see 240. A 5 waver not a one off. What really concerns me, though, is a lot of other prominent stocks are behaving erratically, much more so than TSLA if you can believe it. For example: NVDA. My feeling right now is, unfortunately, this is just a short squeeze and we'll be rejected at 240-245, but that's just a feeling. The chart says stay bullish until we've broken out of 230.
No it doesn't. Fib-wise, it's adequate for a pull back but structure-wise, I don't like it for the intermediate term. Looks bull-trappy.Big thanks to all the contributors here, from a largely silent observer who occasionally swing trades.
So, does a low of day 215.00 constitute a test of the gap?
still not too late. They're at $4 now. Short it to $0.XXXXOT, but I just found this little gem, straight from the mind of Peter. Gosh, how did I not short this stock at 60.

No. As long as it's under 182 I'll keep buying puts.still not too late. They're at $4 now. Short it to $0.XXXX
AAPL did a big pump today. Would that be affecting the game plan to short it to $160?
I loaded more this morning since they were cheap. 172 expired 11/10. Is that plenty of times for it to deflates or should I should roll to next week? No. As long as it's under 182 I'll keep buying puts.

Well isn't this one a downgrade from 400 to 380? Why would that spark anything but red?Funny how last one (PT $400) sparked a nice rally to $278 IIRC and this one…crickets. Lol.
