Sentry Mode too sensitive?

Is Sentry Mode too sensitive? I’m on 2022.36.20, but this is a long-standing problem. Most of the time, in daylight or busy areas at night, the system is fine. But at night in my driveway, when it’s dark, I get 20- 50 sentry recordings that show nothing happening. I have no idea what triggers it. Does anyone have the same issue, or any ideas?

This is common (do a search) some even have it in a closed, dark garage. I have had it since the car arrived , Dec 2020. No solution or explanation that I know of.

Mine was recorded by the leaves or plastic bags that were blown by the wind.

I’ve only noticed the super sensitivity when it’s raining, like water droplets on the camera are confusing it.

And Tesla doesn't seem to want to fix Sentry Mode or the Dashcam Viewer, both have been buggy since their release. But I hear Elon is going to give our cars more games instead.

With update 2022.44.2 Tesla is introducing two new features to Sentry Mode.

Camera-Based Detection​

The first is the ability to turn off camera-based detection so that Sentry Mode will only save recordings that are triggered by intrusion, such as a glass breaking, a door opening, or the vehicle's tilt sensor being triggered (only available in some markets).

Turning off Sentry Mode recording when the cameras detect someone near the vehicle will greatly reduce the number of recordings, however, it could also lead to some threats going undetected.

And yet there will still be no option to turn off the flashing headlights with Sentry Mode or bug fixes to the Dashcam Viewer.
