Sentry, USB and 2020.40.8

Hope no one else has posted similar elsewhere but since my car updated a week ago sentry mode is refusing to save footage to the USB.

I have tried formatting using the cars menu, dash-cam is saving fine but whenever I leave the car and come back I have the error message that some footage couldn’t be saved and sentry mode hasn’t saved anything since the update...

I can’t remember exactly which USB I have but it’s one of the “recommended” ones in the manual and I had zero issues before the update.

Anyone else had this problem since last update? Anyone recommend alternative USB stick that your using that’s fine? I don’t want to go for the SSD etc. as I don’t need that much storage

Just try another card as a test, even if its not a recommended one. My guess is that the card has failed. SSD's are designed for the workload.

I had to remove and re-insert the media after one of the 2020.40 installs.
