Hello, been a lurker for awhile here. Felt left out as I ordered mid Sep and never got an EDD…. until this morning!!!!! Here’s my 411:
OD: 9/18
Profile completed: 9/18
Completed as cash, will do financing later
MYLR 5 Seater, metallic silver, black interior, no tow, now FSD, standard gemini wheels
EDD as of 10/15: 1/21/22-2/10/22
located in LA proper

9/7 - ordered a MYLR, Deep Blue Metallic, Black Interior, 5 seats, Gemini Wheels, No Tow, No FSD.9/24 - I saw an EDD of "March" but that was only there for 1 day and it disappeared.
10/15 - Today is the first time I see an actual date range, but I know not to get my hopes up - it's now "Estimated Delivery: January 15 - February 04"
Happy to see you joined the hop-scotching EDD line. To give me some solace, I always refer back to page 2 of the order agreement:
The esmated delivery date of your Vehicle, if provided, is only an esmate as we do not guarantee when your Vehicle will actually be delivered. Your actual delivery date is dependent on many factors, including your Vehicle’s configuraon and manufacturing availability.

I've noticed a distinct lack of "I got my VIN" postings this past week. Lots' of dates moving forward and back but not much VIN activity.

Everything is pushing out into Q1... it's interesting. Clearly some juggling going on at the factories. My dream continues to be that Tesla is cutting over all factories to mega-castings and 4860 batteries for the Model Y, but doing so is causing several months of reduced output in late 2021 and early 2022

It seems MYLR deliveries are going to be light from some 10 December to mid January. I suspect some retooling is happening for a design change over in MYLR. MYP's EDD's are not interrupted. S and X are slow due to lack of chips, particularly S, which are rolled out without a chip and as when missing parts come, deliveries are happening. I think this might be good in a way for MYLR buyers. We get to have a go at the EV rebate and there are no mass holds placed in December. Many of the MYP buyers do not want to wait and if not for the long MYLR waiting period may have not bought an MYP. Just an educated guess here seeing dates move from December to February or March. EDD's seem to be as volatile as Bitcoin prices.

I noticed your order date is 9/6. So this push of your EDD from December all the way to April is unprecedented! What date did you complete your profile?

I ordered on 9/5. I'm in VA so we are in close proximity which makes the same EDD make sense. Fate is going to decide if I get the EV Tax credit...if it actually passes.Elon knows customers are going to put their orders on hold after the EV bill passes, thats why majority of Sept orders are showing Q1 delivery now.
