Has anyone used Matson to ship a Model 3? I'm wondering because the key card is unlike anything any car has had before, and I wonder if the folks at Matson who drive the car onto and off of the ship will know what they are doing. Will they know to lock the car after parking it on the ship so it doesn't lose too much power during the long voyage? Other issues?
I shipped the Prius over in the fall for my winter stay (no plug-in at the condo) and had no trouble, but anybody who deals with cars knows the quirks of the Prius by now. The Model 3 is still fairly new.
I got a plastic card holder with a key ring, so they can handle the key card as they would a key.
