Yes, it will be less flush in the rear for you
Regarding range is kind of odd
I was expecting some loss due to wider tire and stickier rubber, but surprisingly it stayed exactly the same.
I have a different problem though, these tires push me to have more fun
They really inspire confidence in model S
It is almost like you have a different car now
Summer Tire replacement - stay with 21

Hi AndreyATC,

I am about to get my wheels ready, but I have one more question for you. My rear is 20x10 +40, vs. yours +32. Is there enough gap from the inside face of the wheel? my wheel will be +8mm inward, and I worry there will be rubbing.

That wouldn't be good.

Hi there great looking car :)

Obviously you prefer your 19's. Great. But, I have had similar setups on my Panamera, M5, and M6 and yet to have had a single blow-out, bent wheel, or any other issues you speak of or others having complained about...but that's me. Lucky, knowledgeable to put together the right package so I can avoid all such potential problems, or otherwise just driving in a manner that doesn't cause me trouble, one way or another, after a decade or more of having had cars with similar setups, I have the confidence of experience on my side. Then again, I do hope something else, say something that may have to do with the alignment doesn't come out of the wood-works with this setup! Good luck.
P.S.: Sidewalls on the 285/30/22s and stock 245/35/21s are 3.37" vs. 3.38" respectively, so go figure!:scared::tongue:

Hi there if you don't mind could you please send me the phone # & contact where you got them rims & what you paid for them?

thx

Don't buy BMW wheels they are ugly and very heavy.
I did not like my BMW M Sport wheels so I change to BC wheels 20"

BTW Will my BMW BC wheels fit the Tesla they are ET 35?
I like to keep my BC wheels for the Tesla when I get it if they do fit.

For winter wheels, I think BMW wheels look great.

With winter tires and a proper wheel aspect ratio:

Hey dark!

I'm using H&R Trak+ DR 24mm wheel spacers all around.
That makes the normal offset of theese wheels of 40 down to 28.
I had to do this cause the wheels have been to broad for the front and were almost rubbing against the suspension.

So front setup is like back setup that i can change tyres after one season from back to front..
10,0J X 22" rims on 265/30 tyres
My kick off driving isn't that healthy for my rear tyres!

Comfort is of course not as good as on thick tyres!
But with the airride system it is still comfortable enough for me.
We do have a lot of cobbled streets here in Berlin though and for those of course it's a pain in the ass.
But hey, my priority is the optics!

Tyres are stretched yes, on theese rims you could easily put 295...

Thanks! A contact of mine helped me purchase the rims. After tires, new TPC sensors, mounting and balancing it came out to about almost $8000. They're 21inch, and i kept the stock staggered of 265/35 for the back and 245/35 for the front. I used Continental ContiSport 5P tires.

Those look amazing! Best aftermarket rims i've seen on the Model S yet!

If you don't mind, could you share the price and specs of your adv1s? (width, tires used, etc.)
