Side glass scratches

Hi, on the glass side section, where you place the card to unlock, my wife has scratched the glass unlocking wearing rings. Any way to remove these scratches or is a new glass section needed?

I think its all in one with the camera - hope you manage to remove the scratching - I believe its acrylic so if its fine, try toothpaste or other rubbing compound but I suspect its not fine. But avoid the camera area.

Sounds like it may happen again though, unless you divorced her...

Might transparent 3M or XPEL wrap cover it? It would certainly prevent additional damage - or make it remediable with a hairdryer

Just use Bluetooth from the Tesla app on your phone and enable pin to drive.
Could have a look at those DIY windscreen repairs. Have used them in the past and they work well for glass:

Might not need to use the suction mount and just put the resin on and then a plastic sheet

I’ve used Brasso previously to get scratches out of glass but if it is acrylic then I expect it wouldn’t work as well.

Interested in solutions to this. My other half managed to scratch it with the Tesla card! So annoying.

I thought mine was scratched and worked out it still had the protective film on it, worth a shot if you were unaware like me, I expect the film is easy to mark, especially with a card.
