So tesla model 3 needing camera trunk retrofit don't qualify for FSD beta?

At least until the perform the retrofit but before that they are ineligible? Just making sure that I got it straight. I can't find the specific information. But remember hearing this! Can anyone confirm?

Where’d you hear this from. Don’t think that’s correct. Knock on wood. I have FSD Beta. Filed a Mobile request and spoke to mobile while replacing a bad B Pillar camera. They have the harnesses but not the guards. So waiting on installs. Then they’ll install based on severity of complaints. They have to inspect the harness to even see if it’s frayed. Don’t know if that helps you.

Yeah doesn't make sense. The recall is for all Model 3s made between 2017-2020, and there are lots of Model 3s in this age group already in beta. If it were a concern, they'd remove all affected cars off the beta.

I could have sworn I saw it on one of the many forums! I hope it's wrong!! I have a recall and am waiting... Day 13 with a 99 SS (safety score).

We have a 2018 Model 3 in the FSD beta program. We just had mobile service perform some unrelated work and I asked about the recall (which we got emails for). They said we will be contacted later for the recall work when it's our turn.

Same here. My car has fsd beta, and is on the list for the truck camera issue.
