Software Update Available! HW2 car!

Ok probably a bit too excited here but just got a notification on my phone that there is a software update available. Ran straight to the car and initiated it - fingers crossed that it's something good! Elon did say that if everything looked good on the last release, whole fleet would get update "early next week" and Sunday qualifies as "early".

My current (soon to be previous) firmware version was 2.50.180.

Yup, knew that shortcut and did use it. Car is currently updating.

I really do wish Tesla had a normal update loading status bar like normal - with the car, you have no idea about the progress of the update, just have to keep randomly walking to the garage to check on it...like a baby.

Well, we know minor updates are 15-24 minutes. So, sit back and watch the phone. If it finishes quickly,
you know its not the "biggie".

So the phone will give a notification when the update is complete? You're saying I don't have to keep running out to the garage every 10 minutes? Ha!

That wouldn't be any fun - 2.52.36 is the one that enables the Ludicrous+ mode right, IF you have a P100D car?

Install was less than 10 min; status check is much longer so far and still ongoing.

Was watching "status check" process for a bit - interesting to watch it turn on each headlight individually and each handle as part of its check I guess.

Any way to go back and see what the update did? Mine mentioned something about the driver seat being pre-positioned prior to entry, etc...The update was done to my car a few days ago.

I did get the notification...that's kind of a nice feature.
