Software update before delivery allowed

Hi all, was able to SIT in my brand new plaid today, however tomorrows scheduled delivery day has been postponed indefinitely due to a “software update” thats needed prior to delivery. Anyone else had this experience ?

This was my thought. A new vehicle technically wouldn't have FSD beta, but electrek could have used the word beta when in a way they shouldn't have if the FSD package stll includes the beta stopping feature even without the FSD beta.
