Hello everyone,
We are scheduling our next meeting for Wednesday September 24 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at North Wentworth Arena.
The address is 275 Hwy W, Flamborough (Highway 6 and Dundas, Waterdown)

We’ve conducted our last 2 meetings at the Toronto East service centre, as most ofyou know that isn’t available anymore.
If anyone can recommend a more central location for the future please let me know.
Even though it is a bit of a drive for anyone in the east end, this meeting will be to discuss the future of our club going forward so I encourage you to attend.
Please let me know if there are any topics you would like to be discussed.

Next week is National Drive Electric Week and there are some EV show-and-tell events organized, see details on:

I have registered to 2 of the events with my Mitsubishi i-Miev (I do not have my Model S yet), 1 in Mississauga and 1 in Etobicoke. The Mississauga event already has a Model S and a Roadster registered, however the Etobicoke event only has 4 Leafs and a Volt apart from my car, no Tesla at all. So if any of you has time on Saturday afternoon on the 20th, please register and attend the event to help spread the word about electric driving! registration on this page:

Jaff's a real trooper. Comes out to all kinds of events. Here he is at our company's launch of 2-100 amp SCH units. (We had 4 Roadsters out that day including a fellow who drove up from Buffalo NY).

Good reasons to attend these events...show support for increasing charge station infrastructure / get to see a bunch of good folks who care about the environment / ...get to take the afternoon off work and go for a nice clean drive in the country... :biggrin: :wink:

I sent an email last week about this.I am posting in case any owners who are not yet part of the club would like to attend.

As mentioned previously I have secured a new meeting location that is quitecentral.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday November 11[SUP]th[/SUP] from 7:00 to 9:00 atFortino’s in their meeting room at the store in Woodbridge.
The actual address is 3940 Highway #7, Woodbridge. (Basically 407 and 400)
The room capacity is 45, they cannot accommodate any more than 45! We have had 30+ members at our last few meetings.
So please RSVP especially as we get closer to: [email protected]

There will be lots to talk about I’m sure with the new P85D announcement etc.

In addition am going to the factory next week for a tour and to meet Louise Bristow from Telsa Motors; she is the Communications Manager, Consumer Retention and Engagement.

We will be talking about Tesla’s involvement with local clubs etc.
As usual I will send out reminders as we get closer.

Another good meeting last night at the new location!
A few people asked about the 5 seconds of TV coverage we received at the TAVES (consumer electronics show). We had a couple of Tesla's parked right in the lobby of the Sheraton Center Hotel in downtown Toronto for three days during the event. Lots of interest in the cars by passersby as you would expect and Global TV and CityNews actually did some interviews.

In this CityNews clip, the Tesla part comes at around the 1:50 mark.

Crystal Mountain, located near Traverse City in NW lower Michigan. Crystal Mountain | Michigan Ski, Golf Spa Resort has 5 charging stations including 2- 80 Amp HPWC's. The resort has been designated as a Tesla destination charging partner.

Hello everyone, hope you all had a good holiday season.
On behalf of our club Jaff and I sent lunch to the Mississauga service centre on December 24th and the Toronto East location on December 27th.
This included Pizza, wings and pop etc.
This was to thank them for all their help this year and especially the long hours they are working now near year end.
Kevin, Eli, the delivery specialists and all the team members were very appreciative.
Stay tuned for a date in January for our next meeting.
There should be a few P85Ds there! (although both Jaff and I are still waiting for ours, hopefully we get them this week.
