Wow thanks for the videos above. Elon answered a question from Bloomberg regarding a possible IPO for SpaceX and said something like "there's a right time for a company to go public. First we need to make sure we have a steady cadence of launches, maybe one per month. Then the predictably becomes good and maybe that would be the right time for SpaceX to go public."

I was quite surprised to hear Elon talk about a SpaceX IPO. First time I had heard any discussion of that. I guess I have not been paying attention! I thought that was many years away, if ever. I will definitely invest in SpaceX. Not because I necessarily expect any financial return in my lifetime (i.e., in the next 30 years) but because I believe in the company's mission.

That said, I agree with @Grendal: I think those videos are are from 2014.

The added video of the Stage 1 entry burn gives some perspective on how stupid fast this 130-foot long, ten-foot wide aluminum cylinder is plummeting back to Earth.

And to then see it stick the landing on the droneship barge a couple minutes or so later...

I am in awe once again! Watched the perfect launch from my front yard and cheered the stick on the drone ship a couple of minutes later. Truly outstanding technical achievement.

Camera is tilted, sea/rocket is in right angle. Also the S1 seems to be better condition than JCSAT one. No blowout panels or fires...
