Spiders in car, Help! :(

Last week I noticed a spider run across my inner windshield. Whatever. Over the next few days, I see more and more spider webs in my interior. Today a baby spider crawled down infront of me while driving. I hate spiders and I definitely don’t want them getting in my car. Is it safe to use a bug Fogger from Home depot? What other methods can I use? Im not enjoying driving the tesla right now 🤬

I have a similar problem because I park mine outdoors under a carport. What I’ve done is spray the wheel well with anti bug spray as well as spray it onto the concrete lines so as to create somewhat of a barrier. The wheel wells are their only means to get into the car. It’s worked pretty well so far after a horrific experience discovering a black widow crawling on me while driving on the freeway. 😬😅

Thank you for the feedback, but guys I have an active invasion. Will a hot shot fogger be safe? Buying one soon

If I were you, I would not be asking these questions on a car forum. I would be contacting my pest control specialist for assistance. If you dont have a pest control person already for your residence, I would consider reaching out to one and asking them what they would charge you to help you with this issue.

I would not use a fogger in my car, as I personally dont think that would ever come out. I also would never use one in my home, FWIW, which is why I get quarterly pest control service at my home to treat for ants / spiders etc.

I would NOT use a fogger in my car, I get it you have an issue but don't compound the problem. Certain scents will work, vacuum your interior to collect the ones you can. I read somewhere sticky traps worked to catch and kill them, Google is your friend.

small spiders probably not too bad but I once discussed someone that i had a cockroach in the car and wanted to spray everything with bug killer.
I was advised against this coz the last thing you want is a dead cockroach in the airvents or in some hidden shaft.

I was told to just park the car in directly sunlight (easily cooking the interior) or just wait as without water they will quickly leave naturally anyway (my car is very clean on the inside so the roach probably just got lost).

With spiders it might be a bit more complicated though but i guess they degrade a bit better in airshafts when they die. depending on size of course.

Long ago I parked my topless Miata in a rural area, with the front bumper just touching the hedges that lined the parking lot. Upon returning a few hours later, I jumped in and noticed ants crawling all over the windscreen...on the inside. The entire interior was covered with them.

After spending about 20 minutes screaming and running circles around the lot in my best imitation of a windmill, I called for a ride and left the car overnight. By the next day, the ants had moved on.

More recently, I purchased an Enerzen Ozone Generator to eliminate a particularly bad odor in a car, and it was very effective. High ozone concentrations should also kill off insects (anything oxygen-breathing really) but I've never used it for that purpose.
