I'm really tempted to change my design from a black interior to a white interior. The only thing holding me back is the fear of my OCD kicking in and freaking out over the possibility of stains and dye transfer. I wear denim every day, and my family and I usually take my car on weekends for better fuel economy. (I currently have a Prius Prime) I don't want to be that guy/dad who gets anxious about his passengers ruining the seats...

I would advise against white then. People recommend leather coatings which only do so much and really only prevent deep stains. You'll still be constantly cleaning surface marks daily.

It's a gamble. Could make it better. Could make it worse. Choice is yours.

I changed from Midnight Silver Metallic to Black and it moved up from November to September. You can always change it back and see if the EDD changes back with it.

Got a call from Tesla in TX today, asked what I was doing with my current car. I said I was keeping it. Person on the phone said delivery should be end of September. My current EDD is Sept 25-Oct 9. Not really convinced they actually knew anything.

A couple of the cars listed above have options, i.e., the blue paint or the 19" wheels. I've read that orders with added options are prioritized ahead of orders without them. I can't confirm if this is correct.

hmm I think you're onto something. Mine has 19" wheel, the rest are stock

MSM and White exterior are both “the same”, I would expect EDD to change if you selected one of the colors that costs more (Blue, Black, Red). My Tesla rep did say that choosing options like a color upgrade would likely bring forward the date.

Got my code and ordered the mobile charger this morning. Seems reasonable, but….

Tesla sales told me that car would come with the mobile charger but not the 14-50 adapter, so I ordered one. Thus I now seem to have an extra 14-50 on order. No big deal, really just new car waiting mode.

My pickup is not until next week - Sept 10. Maybe you got out of synch with your travels and changes in pickup dates - but I guess you have already called about it. good luck.

Do you have white or just a fear of white? Have white on our 2018 3 and couldn’t be happier with the seats and how they don’t look dirty…. The black seats on the X? They always look dirty…. Ymmv

Yes open checking account and setting up direct deposit is the requirement(you have 90 days to do so). And membership is required. there is a list of companies that you have to work for... mine surprisingly was in the list

I just received a text from Tesla asking about a trade in and how to go about it if I was trading in a vehicle. Does this mean that I should be getting a vin soon my current EDD Is 9/14-9/28?
