Is it true that there where some model 3 standard range's produced in 2021 with a 3d6 engine instead of a 3d1 engine because there was a shortage in that time? And does this give noticeable differences in battery use and speed?
For made in China models this was indeed the case in Q3/2021 and Q4/2021. About 25% were delivered with the 3D6 and quite a few had the new tail lights as well.
I just bought one of these fron CAZOO! Only 9000 miles on it. 3D6 motor ELR6 battery (Confirmed on the V5 doc). 71 plate (UK). Unfortunately I have no experience of M3s with other motors or batteries to compare them.
