Still no 8.0!

Anyone else in my position? I'm in California and I've got a 85D that I bought new this year. It is parked in a garage during the day, but is otherwise outside and getting reception at least 10 hours a day. I've even tried hooking it up to Wifi and still no sign of 8.0 firmware. Is it just a really slow rollout or is something wrong with my download?

Hard to say. I'm not sure it really matters at this point because you're either

At 7.1 waiting for the upgrade to 8.0
At 8.0 waiting for bug fixes.

The only one not waiting is Green1

Me too. Still waiting. Mixed feelings excited to try something new, but happy with 7.1. Use autopilot a lot on highway. I don't use USB for media which seems to be big issue with 8.0

See Teslarati and several threads here. TACC is better in 8, but auto-steer is worse. I would go back if I could.

Can't be long now ... TeslaFi log is showing only 10% on 7.1 (and, although small sample, that includes all the Asia owners who have not upgraded - dunno if just no one has done it, or if it is not yet available in that territory)

I was in the same boat. Stopped by the local service center today on my way home from work, and they were actually nice enough to upgrade me to 8.0 manually.

Thanks for all the replies! Misery loves company. But, don't get me wrong, I love my Model S. Just want to see how the new autopilot features work, since it sounds like they addressed some of my minor gripes.

I like 8.0!

It would be nice if the voice command feature would somehow support Siri for me, while still allowing the other functions such as voice navigation and music commands. Perhaps this will come in a future release.

I wish I had said no to the update. I normally would know better than to trust any major version update with .0 in it. I too was eager to try out new stuff. But I guess theres no way to downgrade.
